Travel Insurance
Club La Santa has partnered with Howden to develop a bespoke insurance policy specifically designed for customers visiting Club La Santa. We are working together to help ensure you have adequate insurance for your trip and complete peace of mind while you are away.
If you are booking a trip to Club La Santa, you should consider what level of insurance protection you have in place in case the worst were to happen. As a Club La Santa customer, we always recommend that you purchase adequate and fit-for-purpose travel insurance. Unlike many travel insurance policies, the Club La Santa policy provides cover for activities such as marathons and triathlons.
If you choose to purchase the Club La Santa travel insurance policy, you must do so at the time of booking your trip. Taking out your travel insurance when you book your trip is important because cover for pre-departure cancellation starts from the policy issue date. This means you can have cover for your trip costs if you have to cancel for an insured reason, such as illness or a serious accident that prevents you from travelling.
We believe that enjoyment and safety are equally important when travelling with Club La Santa. It is therefore one of our terms and conditions of booking that you have adequate travel insurance in place before you travel with us.
Important update regarding insurance policies and Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Effective from 1 December 2021, we are pleased to be able to provide specific additional cover for UK Resident Beneficiaries’ own cancellation charges if they have to cancel their participation in a trip because they have been diagnosed with, or tested positive for, COVID-19, as detailed in the Statements of Insurance below:

The Club La Santa Policy covers the following:
Medical Expenses
If you are taken ill or have an accident, Endsleigh will pay your emergency medical bills and hospital costs, as well as the cost of bringing a close relative to visit you following a medical emergency. Emergency dental treatment for the immediate relief of pain is also covered.
Cancellation
If you cancel your trip prior to arrival due to an accident, illness or sickness, you may be able to claim back the costs of pre-paid travel and accommodation, subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of the policy.
Equipment Cover
Cover for your own or hired equipment in the event of loss, theft or damage.
Baggage Cover
You will be reimbursed if your luggage is lost, stolen or accidentally damaged, subject to the terms and conditions of the policy.
Children aged 0–18 years old will be charged 75% of the adult rate.

Purchasing your insurance
The Club La Santa travel insurance policy is available to purchase at the time of booking your trip. We strongly recommend taking out your travel insurance when you book your tour, as this means cover for insured cancellation reasons can begin from the policy issue date.
If you choose not to purchase the Club La Santa policy at the time of booking, you should ensure that you have suitable travel insurance in place before you travel. Please note that the Club La Santa policy cannot currently be added to your booking after the booking has been confirmed.
