Be part of the brilliant atmosphere that surrounds the Lanzarote International Running Challenge, whether you choose to run one race or embrace the whole challenge.

Now in it’s 37th year, the International Running Challenge has grown in popularity over the last three decades to become a firm favourite at Club La Santa. The challenge consists of four races in four consecutive days, covering different distances and terrains. The colourful and vibrant night run is a great way to kick start your adventure, taking place the night before the challenge begins.

RACES

Race 1 – Vince Regan Memorial Classic Road Run

Start: Stadium, Club La Santa
Finish: Stadium, Club La Santa
Distance: 10K
Cut off: 1 hour and 30 minutes
Description: Start and finish in the Stadium, Club La Santa. 3 laps around La Santa lagoon. Most of the course is on asphalt.

Race 2 – Ridge Run

Start: Stadium, Club La Santa
Finish: Stadium, Club La Santa
Distance: 13K
Cut off: 2 hours and 30 minutes
Description: You will run on both dirt trails and asphalt roads around one of the volcanoes near Club La Santa.

Race 3 – Beach Run

Start: Los Pocillos, Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote
Finish: Los Pocillos, Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote
Distance: 5K
Cut off: 1 hour and 30 minutes
Description: Buses will take you to Los Pocillos Beach in Puerto del Carmen, where you will run 2 laps on soft sand.

Race 4 – La Vuelta de Tinajo

Start: Tinajo, Lanzarote
Finish: Stadium, Club La Santa
Distance: 21K
Cut off: 3 hours
Description: From Tinajo, you will run around part of “Montaña de Tinache” and back to Club La Santa. The route covers both asphalt, dirt tracks, and 300m of the track in the Stadium.
